Modern higher education in Russia and abroad: problems and time calls

In article the basic problems in sphere of higher education of the Russian Federation, the organisation of educational process concerning, mainly, and scientific activity in high school, and also character of high school management are considered. It is proved that the majority of these problems is caused by formation of inefficient administrative style, prevalence of formalistic approaches and noncritical selection of institutes introduced within the limits of Bolonsky process. Necessity to regard as of paramount importance and make the centre of reorganisation of high schools interests of the basic participants of educational-intellectual process - students as direct consumers of educational services and teachers as the main actors forming the image of the Russian higher education is especially underlined.
