Clusters: an analysis of economic and organizational nature

The purpose of this paper is to identify the distinctive features of clusters and determining whether territorial economic structures, introduce now in Russia, be attributed to the clusters. Our analysis revealed that clusters, as a network (hybrid) structures have important distinguishing features. The key of them, in our opinion, along with the territorial base of the formation, it should be considered that, consisting of different types of organizations, they do not create a single mechanism for coordinating interactions. Instead, forming a wide variety of partnerships, which interact with each other, become the basis for the cluster.
