Compensation for damage caused in health services in civil law of Great Britain

This article focuses on issues related to the compensation of damages caused in the delivery of medical services in civil law of Great Britain. Analyzed normative legal acts regulating this sphere and their enforcement. In particular, this article reviews the rationale and conditions of tort liability under English law for the damage caused in health services, and examines the existing mechanisms of the right to compensation. Detail the procedure for consideration of cases for damages, as well as an assessment of the existing mechanisms. The analysis of existing mechanisms in the UK allows you to draw conclusions and make recommendations that can be applied in the Russian Federation. It proposed the idea of creating a special body authorized to resolve disputes arising out of harm in health services since the establishment of a special body will more effectively protect the rights of patients and improve the quality of medical services.
