Information technologies as a basic tool of the sustainable development of public utilities sector

One of the main problem of public utilities business development is the insufficient level of information technologies and lack of effective mechanisms of measurement and quality control of the resources and services. The paper presents the points of need of creation the information and economic mechanism that allows to carry out on-line monitoring of objects and subjects of public utilities sector, the accounting of resources and services and to control the financial streams.
