Modern mechanisms of attracting extra-budgetary funds in foreign Universities

Research, especially the innovation sphere is a critical system conditions for the development of the University. To enhance their competitiveness in the basis of development of the University should lie the modern mechanisms of formation and promotion of innovation. This article examines the existing infrastructure and the efficiency of scientific activities of leading foreign universities. For example, Oxford and Pittsburgh universities analyzed the basic mechanisms of attracting extra-budgetary funds in foreign universities. Special attention in research was given to the analysis of innovation infrastructure of universities, indicators of efficiency of their scientific activities.
