The article presents the author's view on the current financial crisis: causes, consequences, taking into account applicable financial and fiscal instruments. The authors analyzed the current trends of economic modernization in the area of public financial management and the feasibility of anti-crisis models of sustainable development. Particular attention is paid to stimulating business activity and the maintenance of internal demand through fiscal stimulus in conditions of low economic growth.
