The circle of subjects of the Russian Federation banking system corresponding to the realities of the present

In the introductory part of this article discussed the socio - economic essence of the banking sector in general and the importance of the banking system. The main part analyzes the current banking legislation of the Russian Federation in the interest of the disclosed subject structure of the banking system, given the characteristics of its elements, are examples offered by different scientists, their definition of the banking system and its composition. In conclusion, the author formulated a proposal to amend Article 2 of the Federal Law "About Banks and Banking Activity".
