The terms of a consumer credit agreement

This article examines the problem of determining the legal nature of general and special terms of a consumer credit (loan) agreement. As a result of the conducted study characteristics of general terms of a consumer credit (loan) agreement have been identified, including features of the control over their content. The author has identified the essential terms of a consumer credit (loan) agreement, analyzed the ratio of general requirements regulation to the significant terms of this agreement to the norms of the Federal Law dated 21.12.2013 № 353-FZ ‘On consumer credit (loan)’, and based on the conducted analysis amendments to the applicable legislation have been proposed.
