Information and communication technologies of oil and gas complex at the meso-level: effects, challenges and priorities of development

Today information technologies in the oil and gas industry represents one of the most important factors in enhancing quality of management and optimizing the business processes of the enterprise. In conditions of integration of enterprises of oil and gas complex, it is generated new demands on informatization and automatization not only of the processes of production activity, but also of the procedures and mechanisms of partner relations between oil and gas enterprises at the regional level. The article describes the local effects of the introduction of information technologies at enterprises, identifies the main problems and challenges of integration of information support of the enterprises of oil and gas complex in a single information field of communications at the meso-level.
