Foreign practices of pension systems and motivational resources for the development of pension plans in Russia

The article deals with the gradual improvement of social welfare as a strategic task of reforms carried out in this country. Decent pension provision for the citizens remains one of the key concerns. Now, when the number of retirees is growing every year and the number of working population is decreasing, pension provision assurance and improvement should be the basis for building the pension system in Russia, it should be able to adapt to the current economic factors and consider foreign practices. The authors of the article give a detailed analysis of foreign practices of pension systems implementation; the article presents the opportunities and special aspects of motivational resources activation in the process of pension plans development.
