Transformation of spatial economic system of the region conditions of agglomeration processes intensification

Modern trends and patterns of spatial development of regions of Russia, including the Republic of Bashkortostan, are characterized by territorial differentiation and asymmetry of the localities. This article provided recommendations for management of spatial development of the region, based on the account of agglomerations factors and leveling of their negative consequences. The authors allocated the conditions for the transformation of spatial and regional economic systems in context of changing of territorial distribution of resources, primarily due to increased agglomeration processes. Article proposes directions of embedding agglomerations in the hierarchy of territorial socio-economic systems, their institutionalization on the basis tools of inter-municipal cooperation and program-project management.
