The promotion of production and export of organic food

Increasing the number of farmers engaged in the production of organic agricultural products by 50 percent, while the volume of production of organic products by 2 times are among the goals of the Republic of Azerbaijan to 2020. To achieve this goal it is needed to organize the projects for organic agriculture, to implemented social and economic incentive measures for development of organic farming systems. The author of the article has assessed impact of the measures taken with regard to organic food production and makes proposals related to production and export of organic food.
