On the issue of state registration of rights to real estate

In this article, the author notes the role and importance of state registration of immovable property, analyzes changes that have occurred in the legislation in the field of real estate registration. Using the historical legal method of research, the author analyzes the legislative activity of the Government of the Russian Federation on the creation of a unified federal system in the sphere of state registration of real estate rights and the state real estate cadastre. The author pays much attention to the characterization of the Federal Law No. 218-FZ "On state registration of real estate", which entered into force on January 1, 2017, analyzes the novelties of this law, notes significant changes in terms of maintaining the state register of real estate rights, as well as practical issues that arise in the process of its Implementation in modern conditions.
