the Article is devoted to the actual problem, the solution of which will allow you to change existing tools for assessment of influence of innovative activity on industrial policy implementation enterprises of the region. The aim of this study is the analysis and evaluation of the development of productive capacities of industrial enterprises. The subject of research is innovation and its impact on the work of industrial enterprises of the region. The authors identified key issues in the innovation sector, as well as the findings and developed measures to address these problems. When writing work was used General scientific methods of cognition and methods of experimental and theoretical level, which allowed us to determine the issues in the innovation sector industrial enterprises of Russia, the priority areas of the management industry of the Oryol region in the sphere of support of innovative activity. Scientific novelty of research consists in statement, a theoretical substantiation and resolution of complex issues associated: with the systematization of existing tools for assessment of influence of innovative activity on industrial policy implementation enterprises; the problem of selection of tools and adaptation to Russian realities. The recommendations contained in the article, about the importance of innovation activity of industrial enterprises can be used in the formation and implementation of effective targeted industrial policy. The findings could be of practical interest for the management of Russian industrial enterprises.
