To the question of determining the jurisdiction in cases of deprivation of parental rights

Based on the analysis of the rules of civil procedural law, as well as certain provisions of the Decisions of the Plenum of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation, the authors identified some practical difficulties that arise in determining the jurisdiction in cases of deprivation of parental rights. In particular, certain problems of civil proceedings related to the residence of the defendant have been investigated. Taking into account consideration of materials of regional practice in this category of cases, the author of the article made practical recommendations on effective and reasonable consideration of cases on deprivation of parental rights in terms of determining issues of jurisdiction.
