Genesis of subjects of international criminal persecution of members of criminal organizations

The article explores the specifics of the emergence and development of law enforcement systems in Russia and the countries of the Romano-Germanic and Anglo-Saxon families of law that carry out police prosecution of members of criminal organizations at both national and international levels. The use of systematic, historical and legal methods of research made it possible to identify general trends in the creation and development of systems of law enforcement agencies in Russia and countries of the Romano-Germanic and Anglo-Saxon families of law. The peculiarities of the functioning of these law enforcement systems, in our opinion, were prerequisites for cooperation in the field of police prosecution of members of criminal organizations with international law enforcement organizations (Interpol, Europol) and, as a consequence, the emergence in the long term of subjects of international criminal prosecution in the sphere of activity in question.
