Value target characteristics of national interests as a legal category

the article deals with the specifics of understanding the category of national interests in the theory of law. The research is based on the work of domestic legal theorists, who widely present theoretical developments, the authors of which consider the phenomenon of national interests as a legal category. The author defines that national interests are an objective form of designation of the real needs of society, which are displayed in the interests of the state.
