Problems of formation and functioning of the jury in the light of the new reform

The article is devoted to the reform of the jury in Russia. The author analyzes the current problems caused by the new provisions of the code of criminal procedure governing the formation of the jury and their quantitative composition. Difficulties are predicted in connection with the introduction of the Institute of jurors at the level of district and garrison military courts.
