The analysis of the credit activity of the population of the Kemerovo region on the absolute and relative level of consumer lending to individuals. The main trends and features of the credit behavior of citizens are highlighted. Identified the distinctive features of the credit activity of the population of the Kemerovo region compared with other regions. The conclusions are made about the need to improve financial literacy to solve economic and social problems associated with the development of credit.
