Sanctions as a non-market risk factor for agricultural enterprises

This article examines the modes of sanction restrictions applied by the US and the EU against Russia in the period 2014-2019 and their efficiency in terms of the influence on the economic situation in Russia. The problems of application of sanctions and examples of "bypass" anti-sanctions measures at various levels of government are defined and analyzed. Conclusion is drawn on the conditions under which it is possible to achieve the effectiveness of sanctions. Recommendation to use of anti-sanction tools for the purpose of ensuring national food security of the Russian Federation by agricultural enterprises is proposed.
