Theoretical foundations of technical and forensic support for the disclosure and investigation of crimes related to the illicit trafficking of weapons, its main parts and ammunition during the wars of the first half of the twentieth century

The article discusses the basics of knowledge necessary for the disclosure and investigation of crimes related to illegal trafficking of weapons, its components and ammunition during the wars of the first half of the twentieth century. Changing the flows of illegal arms trafficking in practice requires solving problems related to the validity and legality of procedural decisions, including classifying an object as a firearm or explosive, explosive device, based on their specificity. Coordination and interaction of all bodies responsible for the disclosure and investigation of this category of crimes is possible only with a certain algorithm of actions in relation to special objects of investigation.
