Some questions on the study of the mechanism of international arbitration settlement of investment disputes between Chinese enterprises and Russia in the framework of the initiative «One belt and one road»

economic cooperation between China and Russia continues to develop, which leads to an increase in the growth rate of trade indicators. With the adoption and development of the "one belt and one road" initiative and taking into account the territorial location, Russia has become one of the priority investment goals for Chinese companies. International arbitration is used to settle investment disputes worldwide. It has gained ground through its adherence to fairness, its efficiency, its time savings and its adherence to commercial confidentiality. The "one belt and one road" initiative has also developed an arbitration mechanism in China, where more and more enterprises choose arbitration in resolving investment disputes, protecting their rights and interests, and especially in international investment disputes. This article analyzes the practice of international investment arbitration between China and Russia in the framework of existing mechanisms, as well as assesses the existing options for settlement of investment disputes, sets out the legal framework and practice of arbitration decisions by Chinese enterprises. The article proposes to create a mechanism for international arbitration settlement of investment disputes in relation to Russia.
