Methods for evaluating the effectiveness of the public sector of the economy: foreign and domestic practice

The article presents a scientific study of modern methods for evaluating the effectiveness of the public sector of the economy. The analysis of foreign and domestic practice of determining the performance of the public sector is carried out. Their main advantages and disadvantages are identified. Possible directions for improving the methodology for evaluating the effectiveness of the public sector of the national economy are suggested.
