The article is devoted to studying of concept and privilege types in inheritance. It is necessary to understand a capability of the heir as the privilege to inheritance to purchase exclusive rights on the certain types of property constituting part of inheritance, for certain reasons and conditions. Types of privileges are determined by legal status of the heir, circumstances which characterize it, and legal regime of inheritance. We understand the conditions for exercising the preemptive right of inheritance in the form of special circumstances, in the presence of which it is possible to acquire an inheritance with an advantage over other heirs.
