The article analyzes the current state of the legal regulation of the justice of the peace in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic. The authors identify a number of circumstances that hinder the development of justice of the peace in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic and increase the efficiency of the work of magistrates. The authors point out the need to change the legislation in order to overcome the current situation.
