Types of service in the activities of the ranks separate corps of gendarmes

The article draws attention to the main types of documents, that were important in the activity of a Separate corps of gendarmes, attention is drawn to documents of a general nature, administrative documents and others, reflecting the activities of the Corps, aimed at ensuring internal security of the state in the second half of the XIX th – early XX th century. Special attention is paid to the complex of materials known today as the «Gendarmerie сollection». Attention is drawn to such types of documents as administrative, accounting and general documents, which were a form of organization of all functions of the management process.
