Problematic aspects of a dependent lifelong maintenance contract and ways to solve them

This article provides a comprehensive assessment of the state of civil law regulation of the institution of a life annuity contract and a derivative contract of life support with dependence in the current legislation. In addition, a consistent analysis of scientific research in this area has been carried out. The authors draw attention to some problems of domestic practice in relation to the contract of lifelong maintenance with dependent, make proposals for improving the regulation of this institution in Russian legislation.
