Characteristics of small towns: socio-economic situation and migration sentiments

The article analyzes the sociological concepts of social mobility, in particular, four prerequisites for the study of social mobility /immobility are considered. As the first prerequisite, the dimension of social space-time is considered, which focuses precisely on the hourly parameters of various processes in social space. The second theoretical and methodological premise of the study of social mobility and social mobility analyzes the structure of spatial dimensions. The prerequisites for the study of social immobility here are the study of the stabilization of the population in settlements and the stabilization of personnel. After consideration and generalization of various sociological concepts of social mobility, a scheme of interpretation of social mobility/immobility was proposed, which includes such components as temporal, structural, reproductive and motivational, according to which the terminological field of this study is constructed. The outlined context of the study of mobile and immobile behavior of residents of a small town, which consists in the fact that a locality of this type, unlike a large city, is characterized by a strong dependence of various aspects of its functioning on the dominant industry.
