Crises are an integral phase of society's development. Their cyclicity is determined by various factors: social, technological, political, economic, financial, etc. Well-known scientists have made a significant contribution to the study of crisis phenomena. The most famous are Kondratiev waves, which are a consequence of the obsolescence of technology. As a consequence of the recent events of 2019-2022, related to the pandemic and the current international situation, the crisis phenomena have acquired an acute irreversible phase. A significant number of organizational structures and relationships have been destroyed, companies are in a state of insolvency and bankruptcy. The restructuring of organizations is the most relevant tool of anti-crisis policy. For the correct and successful implementation of the long-term strategic development of the enterprise, the restructuring program should be initially integrated into the strategy of future development. Particular attention should be paid to changes in the field of intangible assets, primarily business reputation. The issue of measures and strategies designed to overcome the crisis and ensure sustainable development in the long term is facing all participants in the socio-economic space. The need for technological renewal is obvious, but the social system needs transformation to a large extent. What principles should be the basis of the new model, what should be taken into account when forming a new concept of management of organizations and human capital to ensure the effectiveness of management? It is obvious that it is impossible to manage the old methods, this leads to a tightening of management at all levels, hence to conflicts. Reducing the severity of the negative consequences of crises, the transformation of social systems should be based on both previously existing principles and new approaches.
