The influence of sanctions on the activities of banking groups in Russia

The article examines the regulatory requirements for the functioning of banking groups in Russia, as well as analyzes the impact of international sanctions on their activities. In the process of consolidation of the banking sector, the importance of banking groups is increasing, and the sanctions imposed cover all participants in cooperation. In conditions of restrictions, banking groups are experiencing a number of difficulties for effective functioning, respectively, a number of competent and cautious measures on the part of supervisory authorities are necessary to maintain the stability of their activities and the entire banking sector as a whole.
