Based on the analysis of domestic and foreign experience of law enforcement agencies, the author notes that the digital transformation of the forms and methods of such activities is actively introduced into practice, while a number of problems of introducing IT technologies into the work of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia are revealed in the work, as well as some ways of improving it.
