Assessment of the social quality of life in the system of state and municipal administration

The effectiveness of management at the state and municipal level is primarily focused on the quality of life of the population, to be more precise, on the social quality of life. Improving the level of social quality of life is the overriding task at all levels of government. There is no universal system for assessing the social quality of life at the moment, however, on the basis of normative legal acts defining the quality of life of the population in Russia, international recommendations and the work of scientists and specialists, the most significant criteria and indicators were identified in this work. As an illustration of the package of proposals for assessing the social quality of life, an analysis was carried out on the identified indicators of a single region – the Kursk region.
