Resume: The article deals with the issues of investment attractiveness of the Russian economy in the context of sanctions. The emphasis is on microeconomics as the main area of direct production. It was many enterprises that suffered due to sanctions and political pressure from Western countries. The problem of domestic enterprises lies largely in the lack of innovative technologies, in staffing, especially in the field of microelectronics, mechanical engineering, and manufacturing industries. The lag is largely due to the lack of private investment, incl. number of foreign ones. Therefore, it is especially important to consider the issue of investment attractiveness of economic sectors. The article notes the problems of investment attractiveness in the conditions, on the one hand, of the transformation of the economy in the new conditions, and on the other hand, the destruction of international coordination and cooperation with foreign partners.
