Problems of increasing efficiency in the implementation of issues of local importance

This article is devoted to the issues of the effectiveness of the work of local self-government bodies. The paper considers the essence of the implementation of local issues by the population and local self-government bodies, as well as the importance and efficiency of their implementation. Such research methods as: analysis and synthesis of theoretical sources, comparative method, method of analogies, statistical method, expert assessment, systematic approach deduction induction was used in the work. The results of the study reflect the current issues of law enforcement in this area. Is local self-government beneficial for the Russian Federation from the point of view of economic indicators. The author's indicators of the effectiveness of the work of local self-government bodies in the implementation of issues of local importance are proposed. Statistical data on the implementation of the main issues of local importance are considered. According to the results of the study, we note whether there is a need for local self-government bodies, what are their advantages and disadvantages of their activities.
