To analyze the level of development of cities and districts of the Komi Republic, three groups with high, medium and low levels of agricultural production development were identified. Syktyvkar and Kortkeros districts, Syktyvkar city form a group with a high level of agricultural development. This is due to the location of these city districts in the southern part of the region. Large agricultural organizations are located here. The city of Ukhta, Priluzsky, Izhemsky, Sysolsky, Ust-Kulomsky, Ust-Vymsky and Ust-Tsilemsky districts form a group with an average level of development. It produces more than 2% of the total agricultural output of the region in value terms. The group with a low level of development is formed by the Udorsky Knyazhpogstsky, Sosnogorsk, Koigorodsky and Troitsko-Pechora districts, the cities of Vuktyl, Pechora, Vorkuta, Usinsk. The city of Inta moves in the second and third groups, which leads to a change in the area of territories. In settlements with a low level of development, less than 2% of the total agricultural output of the region is produced annually in value terms. It should be noted that a large share of the Komi Republic is made up of cities and districts with a low level of development, which in 2014 was 45%, and in 2018 increased to 50%. A significant share of the region consists of cities and districts with an average level of development, which decreased from 40% in 2014 to 35% in 2018. The smallest share in the Komi Republic is made up of cities and districts with a high level of development, their share remained unchanged during the period under review and amounted to 15%.
