This article presents the process of developing proposals for improving the management of educational processes in an educational organization of higher education. A functional model of the process “Manage the educational process of an educational organization of higher education” has been built, showing the structure of the process and information flows that connect the functions of the process. The decomposition of the process into sub-processes and specific procedures has been carried out. Detailing was done, which made it possible to single out specific operations of the process and propose a concept for automating the process of planning the educational process.
