The article is devoted to certain issues of training and instructing the police patrol and patrol service squads for their service. The final results of the activities of both the duty unit and all departments as a whole depend on how efficiently and effectively they will be carried out. At the present stage, the duty units of the internal affairs bodies are the most important link in the process of organizing urgent measures to solve crimes. Taking into account the fact that the duty units in a short time must carry out a sufficiently large amount of measures for emerging situations in the controlled territory and promptly take measures to implement them, the authors of the article focus on the study of certain issues of the organization of activities and management of the duty part of patrol and sentry squads.
