the article presents an analysis of the features of the responsibility of foreign public officials, the list of persons who can be classified as foreign public officials is considered. The article also reveals the features of the crime "Abuse of official authority", which was a completely foreign public official. The study examines articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation on the problem of research, as well as International legal acts and other legislative documents
