The development of e-commerce has rapidly changed consumer preference for the form of purchasing goods. The concept of marketplace, online commerce is not legally established. The Consumer Protection Act. 1992 contains only some aspects of online - commerce. The author systematises knowledge about the existing legal problems of consumer legal protection in marketplaces and concludes that the activities of marketplaces have signs of self-regulation.
