CONSIDERING THE ISSUE OF TERMINOLOGY OF THE LEGAL STATUS OF A DISABLED PERSON IN THE LEGISLATION OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

This scientific article is devoted to the analysis of the current development and prospects of the legal status of a disabled person in the legislation of the Russian Federation. The article discusses the key changes and shifts in approaches to the legislative provision of the rights of persons with disabilities in recent years. Particular attention is paid to current regulations regulating issues of social protection, accessibility, employment, medical care and other aspects of the life of disabled people. The article analyzes the existing problems and shortcomings in the legal status of the disabled, identifies obstacles to their full integration into society. Important attention is paid to international standards and best practices in the field of protection of the rights of persons with disabilities, comparing them with the current situation in Russia. The scientific article also assesses the prospects for further development of the terminological apparatus in determining the legal status of a disabled person. Forecasting of possible changes in legislation and practice of its application aimed at improving the quality of life of persons with disabilities and ensuring equal opportunities for them is carried out. In conclusion, the article concludes that there is a need for constant monitoring and improvement of legislation in the field of protection of the rights of persons with disabilities to create a more inclusive society.
