LIMITATION OF INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS IN A CRISIS: ETYMOLOGICAL AND HISTORICAL ASPECTS

The paper considers certain aspects of the category "restriction of the rights of the individual" in a crisis situation, including within the framework of special legal regimes. Based on the analysis of the literature, the author proposes his own understanding of the main characteristics of restrictions on the rights of the individual in a crisis. The article explores the genesis of the state-legal approach to the restriction of human rights throughout history. As a result of system analysis, the definition of the category "restriction of the rights of the individual" in a crisis situation is presented, combining various aspects of this concept and corresponding to the attitude towards this category in different periods of human development.
