This article examines the complex dynamics of immigrant adaptation by examining various theoretical perspectives and sociological models of integration. The adaptation process of immigrants continues to be a hot topic for researchers and policy makers around the world as societies increasingly face the challenges and opportunities that cultural diversity provides. The theoretical section of the article offers a comprehensive analysis of various adaptation models. The empirical part of the article involves the evaluation of several sociological models that measure the degree of integration of immigrants. The Index of Social Integration of Immigrants is assessed, which sheds light on the multifaceted aspects of the integration of immigrants in various spheres of society. Also discussed is the Cultural Diversity Model, which highlights the importance of recognizing and promoting different cultural expressions in the host society. In addition, the article explores models that take into account forced migration, conflicts, and econometric factors that influence integration models. Incorporating a range of models and methodologies, this article provides a comprehensive overview of the complexity of immigrant adaptation and integration, recognizing the various contexts and factors that shape the process. The article contributes to understanding the adaptation of immigrants by synthesizing a variety of theoretical points of view and empirical models. Recognizing that the integration of immigrants is a multifaceted and dynamic process, this analysis aims to inform policy makers and researchers and promote effective policies and strategies that promote social cohesion and cultural diversity in host societies.
