Currently, Western TNCs are closing their divisions on the Russian market and giving a way to TNCs from new industrial and developing countries. In this regard, the purpose of the article is to present the results of the analysis of specific aspects of personnel management in TNCs divisions. These differences in management approaches are considered from the perspective of taking into account both global management patterns and cultural differences. Based on the experience of working in TNCs divisions in Russia the author has examined the influence of the theories of ethnocentrism and isomorphism, and also the formal rules and the informal norms on the setting up the successful personnel management practices in TNCs divisions. It is concluded that the change in the economic situation will require the top management and HR managers to pay closer attention to the provisions of the concepts of cultural differences in order to achieve the effectiveness of local personnel in the divisions of TNCs from new industrial and developing countries on the Russian market.
