THE HUMANISTICALLY ORIENTED ENVIRONMENT OF MODERN CULTURAL INSTITUTIONS AS THE BASIS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF SOCIAL ACTIVITY OF OLDER PEOPLE

This article examines the problem of developing the social activity of older people in the conditions of a humanistically oriented environment of modern cultural institutions, where the subcategorical understanding of the phenomenon of “humanism” seems to be the ability to transform the natural inclinations of an elderly person into prospects for the development of creative abilities, a form of enrichment with spiritual and moral values. The author gives a generalized description of the subject field of the humanistic-oriented environment of older people, determined by the fundamental principles applicable at the junction of structural and content components. The success of the processes of active self-development and self-organization of older people is proportional to the full use of the capabilities of modern cultural institutions as the basis for the aesthetic, moral, social and spiritual components of their life.
