POPULATION HEALTH NEEDS: ITS EFFECTIVENESS AND POTENTIAL TO INFLUENCE THE MORTALITY AND MORBIDITY OF THE POPULATION

The purpose of the study is to provide an assessment of the population's need for health care based on the analysis of mortality and morbidity indicators of the population. It is substantiated that the population's needs in health care are the need to provide people with access to quality health care services and conditions that help to maintain and improve health. The article identified the main indicators that should be used to assess the level of effectiveness of both the health care system itself and the health of the population. It was determined that in order to maintain potential opportunities to influence the indicators of mortality and life expectancy in the country, it is necessary to maintain a high level of population health and an effective health care system, while using continuous monitoring based on the highlighted indicators and methods.
