ETHICS AS THE BASIS OF FUNCTIONAL ACTIVITIES OF THE PROSECUTOR

This article proposes to consider the rules of ethics, enshrined in the Code of Ethics for prosecutors, as the basis for the prosecutor's performance of the functions assigned to him. The author, analyzing the essential content of some ethical provisions and considering their direct effect in the work of the prosecutor, comes to the conclusion that ethics is the basis of his functional activity, since it contributes to the proper performance of official duties, focuses on correct law enforcement, and allows achieving the goals and objectives set for the prosecutor's office .
