SOME PROBLEMS OF PROSECUTORIAL SUPERVISION OVER THE IMPLEMENTATION OF LEGISLATION ON THE INTERNET

The article deals with a number of topical issues reflecting the activities of the prosecutor's office in the exercise of supervisory powers over the implementation of the norms of Russian legislation on the Internet. The relevance of the study is related to the massive spread of malicious information on the Internet. The article presents an analysis of official statistics, indicating that the distribution of prohibited content is constantly increasing. Based on the opinion of prominent representatives of legal scientific thought, the author formulated specific recommendations for expanding the powers of the prosecutor's office in this area.
