FACTORS AND RISKS OF MIGRATION IN THE VIEWS OF STUDENTS

the article presents the results of a sociological analysis of the ideas of university students about the causes and risks of migration of Russian youth. In the main foreign theories of migration, deficits in the living environment are identified as factors that limit the fulfillment of the needs of those leaving. Domestic researchers define the migration process as the movement of groups towards expanding freedoms. Liberation from restrictions on income and career is used by more active groups or individuals. The key resource is the competitive potential of individuals or groups. The identified factors of migration ideas: needs for improving the quality of life, self-realization in a career, building personal relationships - reflect ideas about the possibilities and goals of moving.
