THE REASONABLE NEED FOR COVID RESTRICTIONS ON THE RIGHT TO FREEDOM OF PUBLIC EVENTS IN THE POST-PANDEMIC PERIOD: PRESENCE OR ABSENCE?

The work is devoted to the assessment of coronavirus restrictions in force on the territory of certain subjects of the Russian Federation regarding the right to hold public events introduced under the high-alert regime, from the point of view of the reasonable need to preserve them at the post-pandemic stage. Analyzing the content of normative legal acts of the highest state authorities of the subjects of the Russian Federation and other documents on this issue, the author of the article comes to the conclusion that there is no reasonable need to maintain such restrictions on freedom of assembly.
