The presented study reveals a comprehensive scientific analysis of the problem of social development, focusing on the analysis of population income, the level of satisfaction of basic needs from the point of view of the regulatory influence of the state. The hypothesis of the study is the possibility of establishing relationships between a wide range of indicators, including many factors essential to meet various needs, such as healthcare, accessibility to transport, cultural institutions, communications, etc. and the implementation of the state strategy to improve the quality and standard of living.
The article examines the management of standards and the welfare of citizens primarily through legislative measures and strategic planning. In the context of the state strategy of the Russian Federation, key tools are used to achieve significant results in this area, including the development and improvement of the legislative framework, as well as the use of a program-targeted approach.
